The widespread disruption caused by COVID-19 has had a particularly huge impact on the global live music industry. The questions we face now are what can we do to ensure the live music industry bounces back even stronger? And how do concert promoters build back consumer confidence?
Join Steve Tilley (Kilimanjaro Live) & Dan Monsell (Rockfeedback) as they take you through their careers as concert promoters & discuss their new joint venture, FORM. They’ll share how to restore customer confidence as well as how live music & events can make a return.

Presented by Association of Independent Promoters & atom promotions as part of an Arts Council England project, the mission of the promoter masterclass series is to:

Support independent promoters & freelance workers during the COVID-19 pandemic
Help concert promoters to deliver remarkable events when they are safely able to do so
Kilimanjaro Live is London-based leading live entertainment promoter, organising over 500 live music and diverse entertainment events each year – ranging from the biggest arena tours to festivals and small gigs in local pubs. Kilimanjaro Live promotes some of the biggest artists in world music and each year its shows are attended by 3/4 million people. It also promotes a range of alternative entertainment events including comedy, spoken word, theatre, extreme sports and martial arts. With a commitment to supporting new talent, many of today’s stars started their career as a Kilimanjaro Live artist.
Rockfeedback (RFB) started life initially in September 2000 as an online magazine founded by a 14 year old, Toby L. RFB subsequently expanded to incorporate live nights, hosting a plethora of breaking acts of the times such as The Libertines, Regina Spektor, Metronomy, The Maccabees, Bloc Party and many more. A TV production company followed, with four series of its flagship show Rockfeedback Presents airing on Channel4 and MTV2, and work with brands in music such as Coca Cola, Xbox, Spotify, The Guardian, Sailor Jerry and more.
The recent years saw RFB sharpen its focus to becoming primarily a live promotions company, run by Monsell. Rockfeedback Concerts has since developed the live careers in the UK for multiple acts such as Father John Misty, Flume, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Soccer Mommy, Waxahatchee, Johnny Flynn, Marika Hackman, Songhoy Blues, Sophie and many more, plus co-founding Visions Festival in East London, By The Sea in Margate (performances from Foals, Loyle Carer, Royal Blood, Wolf Alice, Hot Chip and more). RFB continues to work with brands, book publishers & creating online content. Monsell also recently helped open the London venue EartH, programming the diary for the first two launch years.
Rockfeedback, One Inch Badge and Kilimanjaro Live are delighted to announce a new partnership and joint venture, FORM – creating an alternative independent promoter offering in the UK.
FORM will encompass events from London music stalwarts Rockfeedback and Brighton's multi-disciplinary events company One Inch Badge and will bring together a passionate group of music and culture fans that together produce and stage in excess of 600 shows every year across the UK.
Rockfeedback and One Inch Badge will continue to operate in their key markets of London and Brighton, with events outside of these cities to be branded as FORM Presents. Kilimanjaro joins FORM as a third partner, assisting with infrastructure and administration.
FORM will enhance the companies' existing dynamic and alternative approach to curation and promotion as it builds upon a diverse live roster that includes artists such as Flume, Father John Misty, The War on Drugs, Kate Tempest, Freya Ridings, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Bonobo, Big Thief, Johnny Flynn, Fontaines DC, Future Islands, Mø, Marika Hackman, Dream Wife, Kurt Vile, SOPHIE and many more.
FORM will also build upon the duo's touring arts and culture events portfolio – a growth area in non-music events that Rockfeedback and One Inch Badge have collaborated on together for some time. Previous tours and promotions include book launches and comedy events for the likes of Akala, Beastie Boys, Neil Tennant, Kim Gordon, Eric Andre and James Acaster plus podcast and TV "in conversation" events from Jon Ronson, Narcos, Making a Murderer, Welcome to Nightvale and others.
FORM will additionally provide bespoke white label services for a select roster of brand clients. With over a decade of experience in this sector, previous clients of the executive team involved in FORM include Spotify, Google, Amazon, Xbox, Sailor Jerry, BT, Disaronno and The Guardian.
